- Advertised and Brand Management
Today is Monday 30 April 2012 and I learn about Advertised
and Brand Management in the E business class. So today I learn about
advertising using banner adverts, web advertising, email marketing, creating
and maintaining brands, search engine positioning and domain names.
Advertising on the web is like sent to different message to
different audience types, for example, current customers, potential customers
and former customers.
Online advertising should be also co-ordinated with
traditional advertising. Using banner advertising is one of the affective ways
and it just use small rectangular object on a web page. Includes a hyperlink,
animated GIF and rich media objects used to grab attention. Standardized the
size of banner which is have been adopted.
Place the banner adverts in different ways to arrange for
other sites to display. By using a banner exchange network, identify suitable
sites and pay them directly. Using email marketing strategies is one of the way
of advertised and brand management. Expected the conversion rate and know how
to handle email processing. The most important thing is know how to avoid spam.
The value of brands is powerful statement of quality and
immediately recognized by customer. Makes the product easier to advertise and
promote. Affiliate marketing strategies is a website provides information about
another company’s product and provides link through to the seller’s site.
Affiliate also receives commission based upon pay-per-click or
pay-per-conversion.
Viral marketing strategies is seeks to exploit
customer-to-customer communications offered by the websites and encourages
customer to tell other potential customers about an offering product. Search
engine sites provide classified hierarchical lists of categories of Universal
Resource Locator (URLs). Intension is to appear in the first ten returned
listings for a related search.
Domain name is well established brands want URLs that
reflect their name or reputation. Important marketing consideration is that URL
should be memorable and domain names can be bought, sold and leased.
